Setting Description Default
Keep Alive Select whether to use the remote node keep alive function
of connected servers and clients (such as socket services,
FTP server, Sysmac Studio, and FINS/TCP) for each con-
nection number. If Use is selected here and the remote
node does not respond during the set monitoring time, the
connection is disconnected. The connection is left open if
the power supply to the remote node is turned OFF without
warning. Use the keep-alive function whenever possible.

The connection is disconnected if the keep-alive function is
enabled and the remote node does not respond during the
monitoring time set in the Keep Alive Monitoring Setting.

socket services. If the Linger Option is specified, the port
number is immediately opened even before the port num-
ber is released after the socket closes (approx. 1 minute).
