Why are my DeviceNet Omron I/O Systems communications timing out?

A DeviceNet communications timeout may occur in Omron I/O Systems due to several reasons. Check if the baud rate is the same as the Master’s, verify the lengths of cables (trunk and branch lines) are correct, ensure cables are not short-circuited, broken, or loose, confirm terminating resistance is connected to both ends of the trunk line only, and verify that noise interference is not excessive.
