Taking a test
CAUTION:
Repeated unexpected blood glucose results
• If you continue to get unexpected results, check your
system with control solution. See page68.
• If you are experiencing symptoms that are not
consistent with your blood glucose results and
you have followed all instructions in this Owner's
Booklet, call your healthcare professional. Never
ignore symptoms or make significant changes to your
diabetes management program without speaking to
your healthcare professional.
Unusual red blood cell count
A hematocrit (percentage of your blood that is red blood
cells) that is either very high (above 60%) or very low
(below 20%) can cause false results.
Removing the used lancet
NOTE: This lancing device has an ejection feature, so you
do not have to pull out the used lancet.
