Button
(REPEAT)
Press
this button to activate
the
repeat
play
mode. Repeat
play
can
be used
in
conjunction
with
the
normal,
memory
play
and
shuffle
play
modes.
Intro Play Button
(INTRO)
Press
this
button to enter the
"lNTRO"
play
mode.
The Intro
play
function
automatically
locates the beginnings of
the tracks
on a disc and
plays
about the
first seven seconds of each one.
It is
particularly
useful for
rapidly
checking
the contents of a
disc.
When
this button
is
pressed,
the
INTRO indicator lights
up.
Remote

Commands from the
remote
control
transmitter are received
here.
Display Button
(DISPLAY)
Press this button during
playing
to switch the
display shown
in
the
Time Display
among the
following three types:
Operations

Shows
how long the current
track has been
playing.
2. Track
remaining
time
(SINGLE
REMA)
Shows
how much
time
is
left for
the track
currently
playing.

Total remaining time
(TOTAL

Shows
how
much
playing
time
is left for
the
entire disc.
During
memory
play,
this display
shows the
playing
time
remaining
for
the entire
sequence of
tracks
programmed
into
memory.
Time Display
This
display
shows either the elapsed
time or the
remaining
time
for
the track being
played
or the
remaining time
for
the
entire
disc.
During memory
play,
this display shows
either the
elapsed time
or the
remaining
time
Íor the track being
played
or the
remaining
time
for
the entire sequence
of tracks
in me-
mory.
lt
can be set by the
DISPLAY
buttonÍZl.
Track Number Display
Displays the total
number of tracks on the
disc,
or
the selected
track
number during the
program,
or the
number
of the
track
that
is
currently
being
played.

Lights
up
while
the
block
repeat

B) mode
is set.
REPEAT:
Lights
up
when the
repeat
play
mode
is
set.
SHUFFLE:
Lights
up
when the shufÍle

mode is set.
INTRO:
Lights

mode

operating.
MEMORY:
Lights
up during
memory
play
or
when a se-
lection

programmed
into
the
memory.
PAUSE:
Lights
up
when the
pause
mode is
engaged.
Random Calendar
Display
The numbers
oÍ the
tracks being
played
back or the tracks
programmed
in
the
memory
are displayed
in the
playing
order.

POWER switch to turn on the
power.
Press the
OPEN/CLOSE
button to open the
Disc Tray.
Put
the disc
in
the
Disc Tray with its label
facing
up.

OPEN/CLOSE
button again to
close the disc tray.

When the total number oÍ tracks on the
disc
and
its total
playing
time are displayed, the disc
is ready.

nothing
is
displayed, this
may mean
thatthe disc
is in upside
down.

that
is
the
case,
take out
the disc and
put
it in right
side up.

When
you put
the disc
in
the
disc tray, if
you
press
the PLAY
button
instead
of the OPEN/CLOSE button, the
tray
is
closed
automatically and the first track begins to
play.
