Functionality depends on your iPod or iPhone model
and generation and your AV receiver model and gen-
eration.

Align your iPod or iPhone with the UP-A l's dock con-
nector and push
it down so that it's fully seated. If there's
a gap between the back of your iPod or iPhone and the
adapter,turn the adapter counterclockwise
to close the
gap.Turning the adapter counterclockwise moves it for-
ward.Turning it clockwise moves it backward.
