3. Back off adjusting screw l/8 to l/4 of a turn.
GEAR ASSEMBLY AND TIE RODS
4. Tighten lock nut to a torque of 43 lbs.ft.
Removal. GT
5. Fill area under pinion shaft rubber boot with steer-
ing gear lubricant and slide boot into position.
1. Remove rubber knee protector pad.
