Usage Features:

  1. Assembly:

    • Hose Connection: Insert the hose connector into the inlet on the main body of the vacuum cleaner. Then, rotate the hose 90 degrees clockwise to lock it in position (Fig. 3/1).
    • Telescopic Tube: Insert the telescopic extension tube into the end of the handle (Fig. 3/2). The tube can be lengthened or shortened by pressing a button and sliding it to the desired length (Fig. 3/3).
    • Floor Tool: Attach the combination floor tool to the extension tube (Fig. 3/4).
    • 2-in-1 Tool: This versatile tool includes a dusting brush for delicate surfaces and a crevice tool for corners, crevices, and edges. An upholstery tool is also provided for cleaning carpets, upholstery, etc.
  2. Operation:

    • Cord Release: Fully unwind the power cord. A yellow mark indicates the recommended cord length; do not exceed the red mark.
    • Power On/Off: Insert the power plug into an electrical outlet, ensuring the vacuum cleaner is switched off. Press the on/off button on top of the vacuum cleaner to turn it on, and press it again to turn it off.
    • Carpet Cleaning: For carpets and rugs, press the rocker switch on the combination floor head to raise the brushes.
    • Hard Floor Cleaning: For hard floors, press the rocker switch on the combination floor head to lower the brushes.
    • Cord Rewind: To retract the power cord, press the auto cord rewind button on top of the vacuum cleaner, guiding the cord with one hand to prevent sudden jerks that could cause damage or injury.

Maintenance Features:

  1. Emptying the Dirt Container:

    • Always unplug the vacuum cleaner from the electrical outlet before removing the dirt container.
    • Press the button on the front of the vacuum cleaner to open the lid.
    • Lift out the dirt container by its handle (Fig. 5/1).
    • Position the dirt container over a rubbish bin and press the release catch to open the flap and empty the contents (Fig. 5/2).
    • Close the flap and return the dirt container to the vacuum cleaner.
  2. Filter Cleaning and Replacement:

    • General Guidelines: Do not use detergents or boiling water to wash the filters. It is recommended to wash the filters every 4 weeks, or weekly, and replace them after 20 washes. All filters must be completely dry before re-inserting them into the vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner must not be used without all filters in place. For best performance, replace filters annually.
    • Central HEPA Filter:
      • Remove the dirt container as described above.
      • Pull out the central filter (Fig. 5/3).
      • Gently tap the filter against the side of a rubbish bin to remove excess dirt (Fig. 5/4).
      • Rinse the central filter in warm water (max 40°C). Allow it to air dry completely before replacing (Fig. 5/5).
      • Return the central filter to the dirt container.
    • Post-motor Filter:
      • This filter is located at the back of the vacuum cleaner.
      • Release the post-motor cover by pressing down on the two catches at the top of the cover (Fig. 5/6).
      • Remove the filter by pulling it away from the casing (Fig. 5/7).
      • Rinse the post-motor filter in warm water (max 40°C). Allow it to air dry for at least 24 hours before replacing.
      • Return the post-motor filter to its casing and re-fit it to the back of the vacuum cleaner.

Safety Information:

  • Use only indoors on dry surfaces.
  • Turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner before connecting/disconnecting from the mains supply, or before attaching/removing the hose and accessories.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
  • The appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person.
  • Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner if it has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, or if the cord or plug is damaged.
  • Do not pull or carry the vacuum cleaner by the cord, use the cord as a handle, close doors on the cord, or pull it around sharp edges. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
  • Do not handle the plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
  • Do not insert objects into openings. If openings are blocked, do not use the vacuum cleaner and ensure airflow is not restricted. Remove dust, lint, hair, or anything that may reduce airflow.
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all body parts away from openings and moving parts.
  • Do not vacuum hot coals, cigarette butts, matches, or any hot, smoldering, or burning objects.
  • Do not vacuum flammable materials (lighter fluid, petrol, kerosene, etc.) or use the vacuum cleaner in the presence of explosive liquids or vapors.
  • Do not vacuum harmful or toxic materials (chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.).
  • Do not vacuum hard or sharp objects such as glass, nails, screws, coins, etc.
  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner without filters in place.
  • Exercise extra care when vacuuming stairs.
  • Ensure the area being vacuumed is well lit.
  • Store the vacuum cleaner indoors in a cool, dry area.
  • Always switch off the vacuum cleaner before unplugging it.
  • Use only CE-certified 13 amp extension cords. Ensure the cord is laid out to prevent tripping or pulling.

Environmental Protection:

The "crossed-out trash bin" symbol on electrical equipment or packaging indicates that the device should not be treated as general household waste. Obsolete or broken-down electrical devices should be delivered to special designated collection points for recycling. This contributes to reducing negative environmental effects and allows for the recovery of materials used in the product.
