Precautions for using the battery
z Store the battery in a cool, ventilated location, away from direct
sunlight.
z Battery life is limited, and it becomes shorter after the battery is
charged repeatedly. If charging fails several times, this indicates
that the battery is worn out and a replacement is advised.
z Dispose of worn-out batteries in designated places according to
specified regulations. Do not dispose of batteries in residential
waste.
z Do not throw worn-out batteries into fires as this may cause
additional fires or explosions.
z Do not insert vigorously when installing the battery as this may
result in leakage, overheating, explosion or fire.
z Do not disassemble or reassemble the battery as this may result
in leakage, overheating, explosion or fire.
z If the battery becomes hot, changes in colour or becomes
deformed during the course of use, charging or storage, stop
using and replace it immediately.
z Keep the battery away from dampness to prevent overheating,
smouldering or erosion.
z Do not leave the battery in direct sunlight, in a car or other
high-temperature location as this may result in leakage or
overheating. This may affect the battery’s performance and
shorten its life.
