Preparation
Power supply
The device works on three 1.5 V AAA batteries.
Batteries are not supplied, so insert them into the scale after purchasing.
Before using the device, 3 AAA batteries (not supplied) must be inserted into the
device.
1 Open the battery cover (gently push the latch in the direction of the arrow and
lift the cover).
2 Insert three 1.5 V AAA batteries. Observe the correct polarity + and -.
3 Close the battery cover.
Advice
• In normal use, the batteries should last for several months. If the display is no
longer lit, replace both batteries with new ones.
Notes
• Do not leave the scale control in very hot or humid places.
• Do not use a new battery with an old one.
• If you will not be using the balance for a long time, remove the batteries.
This will prevent possible damage to the balance due to battery leakage and
subsequent corrosion.
