• Only use the appliance with the
provided base.
• Never use your coffee maker without
water in it.
• This coffee maker is an electric
device: never use it on the stove nor
the glass-ceramic hob.
• Stand the appliance on a table or flat
surface.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Wash with hot water all the parts which get in contact with water or
coffee. Make coffee once or twice, disposing of this coffee.
USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
1. Check that the coffee maker is cold, and then unscrew it.
2. Remove the funnel and, to prepare 6 cups of coffee, fill the boiler
with fresh water until reaching the safety valve without exceeding it. To
prepare less than 6 cups, fill the boiler at around 2 centimeters below
the safety valve.
TIP: use fresh and soft water. Salty or hard water will weaken the
flower.
IMPORTANT: do not use the coffee maker without water or using hot
water for a faster operation.
3. Insert the funnel filter in the boiler. To prepare less than 6 cups,
also insert the adapter in the funnel filter.
4. Fill the funnel filter with ground coffee, without pressing it. Fill it
a little at a time to prevent spilling the ground coffee.
5. Distribute the groud coffee uniformily and remove any excess of coffee
from the edge of the filter.
6. Tighten the coffee maker securely (without exaggerating) and place it
on the base.
7. Press the switch. The coffee will be ready in a few minutes.
TIP: when the coffee is ready, mix the coffee in the pitcher before
serving it.
Keep the coffee hot: once the coffee is ready, it will be kept hot during
30 minutes if the coffee maker is not released from the base. This
function will be also stopped pressing the switch.
