Chapter 7 HT500 Radio Base Station Con guration
Options con’t: The Options dialog allows user to modify the information that is displayed within the Javelin
Status bar during real time tracking.
NOTE: Changes in the options menu are applied to all Javelin remote devices.
Battery Status: Users can choose to have the current input voltage that the Javelin is receiving from its
power source, or to display the current Power Consumption in mWh.
Fix Information: Users can choose to have the current speed of the target displayed, or the current direction
of the Javelin device.
Fix Age / Memory Status: Users can choose to have the time since last reported GPS x displayed, or the
number of records that have been received since the start of the live tracking session.
Speed Units: Users can choose to have the current speed of the target displayed in Miles per hour, or
Kilometers per hour.
Download Options: Users can choose to download all records in memory upon a download request, or to
download only the records accumulated since the last download.
Once all changes have been made, select OK to apply the changes to the display bar or select Cancel to return
to the previous screen without applying changes.
RF Signal Status: The RF Signal Status icon provides visual feedback on the current state of the
connection between the Javelin remote unit and the HT500 RBS. Green indicates a good connection,
Yellow indicates a marginal connection and Red indicates no connection.
Download: The Download records from remote unit will initiate a download from the selected unit.
Once the download has begun a progress bar will replace the status elds. Abort the download by
selecting the Abort Download button. Users will be prompted to save the track after the download is
complete.
