Monitor / Defibrillator
Prior to attaching your Titan III Gateway to the LIFEPAK, please ensure that it has been
configured for use in your networking environment. Refer to the User Manual.
The Gateway is housed within a protective plastic shell, which
contains the Gateway unit, the antennas, and cable connection
for your LIFEPAK. The protective shell is designed to fit in the
dedicated SIDE POUCH of the LIFEPAK carrying case. This
placement results in the ideal antenna position for optimal
results.
Step 1 (Applicable to all LIFEPAK Device Models)
Place the Titan III Gateway in the SIDE POUCH of the LIFEPAK
carrying case, such that the indicator lights are facing upwards
and the connection cable exits towards the back of the LIFEPAK
unit.
Step 2 (Applicable to all LIFEPAK Device Models)
Insert the connector at the end of the cable from the Titan III Gateway
into the mating port on the back of the LIFEPAK Device. The Gateway
cable connector incorporates a 90-degree molding which makes the
connection to the LIFEPAK convenient, and secure.
Step 3 (For LIFEPAK 15 Monitor/Defibrillators ONLY)
Route the connection cable underneath the Velcro flap out the rear of the protective
pouch. Secure the Velcro flap(s). The LIFEPAK Defibrillator/Monitor carrying case pouch
does not have this flap.
The Titan III Gateway should only be placed in the side pouch of
your LIFEPAK carrying case dedicated for it. If your carrying case
is equipped with a back pouch, DO NOT PLACE THE GATEWAY IN
THE BACK POUCH, as this may interfere with battery operation or
may cause unexpected shut down of the LIFEPAK Device.
