Usage Features

Connection with Gas Tank:

  1. Ensure the gas tank is a 13kg butane/propane type and located in a ventilated area.
  2. The regulator must comply with EN 16129 and local codes.
  3. The hose must conform to relevant country standards and not exceed 1.50m in length. It should be checked periodically (at least every two years) and replaced immediately if worn or damaged.
  4. Close the control valve on the stove.
  5. Securely fix the hose to the stove nozzle until the connection is well gripped.

Leak Testing: A leak test must be performed every time a new gas tank is connected or after a long period of disuse.

  1. Prepare a leak detection solution by mixing 2-3 fluid ounces of washing-up liquid with 3 parts water.
  2. Ensure all control knobs on the stove are in the OFF position.
  3. Connect the regulator to the gas tank. Do not place the gas tank under the trolley unless specifically instructed.
  4. Once the connection is secure, fully open the gas tank valve.
  5. Brush the soapy water solution onto the gas tank valve, regulator, hose and hose connections, stove valves, and any welds or seams on the gas tank.
  6. IMPORTANT: If bubbles appear, there is a gas leak. Immediately turn off the gas tank valve. If the leak persists after re-tightening connections, do not attempt to fix it yourself; contact your LPG supplier. Perform leak tests away from open flames or sparks and do not smoke.

Ignition of the Stove:

  1. For manual ignition, hold a lit match or lighter above the burner head.
  2. Push and turn the control knob counter-clockwise.
  3. With the control valve open, the electrode (if present) will ignite the burner.
  4. If the burner does not light, turn off the control valve, wait 5 minutes, and repeat the ignition process.
  5. Once one burner is lit, open other control valves to light additional burners.
  6. To turn off the stove, turn the cylinder valve or regulator switch to the OFF position, then turn all stove control valves off.

Cooking:

  1. Place food or liquid in a suitable container (kitchenware).
  2. Center the kitchenware on the stove.
  3. Turn the control valve to adjust the heat.
  4. Use cooking vessels with a diameter between 12cm and 27cm.
  5. Always use protective gloves when handling hot components.

Turning the Stove Off:

  1. Close the control valve when cooking is finished.
  2. After the last flame is extinguished, wait 5 minutes for the stove to cool down.
  3. Verify that all burners are off before unfastening the gas refill.
  4. Move the entire stove away from ignition sources before unscrewing the gas cylinder.
  5. A small amount of gas may escape during unscrewing.
  6. Dispose of empty gas bottles according to local recycling and waste treatment laws.

Safety Warnings:

  • Always ensure no fuel leaks before and after ignition. Fuel leaks can cause fire, burns, serious injury, or death.
  • Exercise extreme caution when using the stove below 0°C, as O-rings can harden and fuel may leak.
  • Keep children and combustible materials at least 3 meters away from the stove.
  • Never leave a hot or lit stove unattended.
  • Ensure flexible tubing is kept away from hot and sharp objects. Replace tubing according to local laws.
  • Change gas cylinders away from any ignition sources.
  • The stove can ignite combustible materials, liquids, or flammable vapors, leading to fire, burns, serious injury, or death. Keep combustible materials at least 1.2 meters away from a lit or intended-to-be-lit stove. Keep flammable liquids or vapors at least 6 meters away.
  • Never place your head or body over a lit stove when lighting or cooking, as this is dangerous and can cause fire, burns, serious injury, or death.
  • Never move a hot or lit stove. Turn it off and wait at least 5 minutes for it to cool down before moving it.
  • Do not use kitchenware with a diameter greater than 30cm.
  • Never group multiple stoves together.
  • Never use the stove to heat empty or dry pans.
  • Do not use heat dispersers from other suppliers. Such uses can cause fire, burns, serious injury, or death.
  • Using unsuitable kitchenware can lead to instability, causing it to fall and result in fire, burns, serious injury, or death.
  • The sealed parts of the appliance must not be altered by users or their agents.
  • Always separate the stove from the propane tank before storage. Failure to do so can lead to gas leaks, fire, burns, serious injury, or death.

Maintenance Features

  • The gas supply hose should be checked periodically and replaced at least every two years, or immediately if worn or damaged.
  • Clean and maintain the stove regularly.
  • In case of poor performance (small flame, stove not turning on, cold gas cylinder, windy conditions, or empty gas cylinder), refer to the troubleshooting section for solutions, which typically involve changing the gas cylinder or using a screen in windy conditions.
  • The document also includes information on recycling and waste treatment for empty gas bottles.
