What to do if my Paccar Winch Chain Hoists line speed is considerably reduced?

If you notice a considerable reduction in the line speed of your Paccar Winch Chain Hoist, start by checking the same potential issues as if the hoist wasn't pulling its maximum load: look for a system relief valve set too low, dirt under the relief valve, low oil level, a damaged suction line, or an uneven mounting surface. Also, if the decrease in line speed has been gradual, the hydraulic pump or hoist motor might be worn. Remove and inspect the pump. If the pump is in good condition, consult the disassembly instructions for the hoist and inspect the motor according to the service instructions for the hydraulic pump.
