STEPS TO CONVERT YOUR SCOUT M-Series WHEELCHAIR
FROM REAR-WHEEL DRIVE TO FRONT-WHEEL DRIVE
1.) Turn power off at the joystick console.
2.) Locate the pull pin holding footplate assembly to main frame. Pull upward on ring until pin is re-
moved from square frame tube.
3.) Pull the footplate assembly outward until it is separated from main frame.
4.) Insert footplate assembly into square tube of main frame at opposite end of wheelchair. Push
assembly inward until holes through frame align with desired holes in footplate assembly. Replace pin
completely through square tubes until seated fully downward.
5.) Flip the switch located on the cover to the outside. See the label on the cover (see previous sec-
tion) for directions.
6.) Rotate the seat 180 degrees and lock it into place (seat only swivels one direction, the direction
can be changed to rotate to the opposite side, ask your dealer for details.
