Why is there no dial tone when I press the # key on my PACH & COMPANY Intercom System?

If you're not getting a dial tone when pressing the # key on your PACH & COMPANY Intercom System, here are a few things to check: * First, test the phone line with a standard phone to ensure you're getting a dial tone. * Next, verify the speaker and microphone connections, ensuring the snap-on clip connector faces inside the board. * Also, check the red and orange wires to confirm they are properly soldered to the speaker. * Finally, power "OFF" the system, disconnect the speaker connector, set your meter to Ohm (50 Ohm scale or higher), and measure the speaker's resistance. It should read between 19 - 24 Ohms.
