General safety warnings
To prevent hazards for you and to avoid damage to electrical equipment, please observe the
following instructions before commissioning the product.
• During the charging process, explosive gases may leak out of the battery. Avoid flames
and sparks. Ensure adequate ventilation.
• Read these instructions carefully before loading.
• Do not place the charger on the battery while charging.
• Always ensure good ventilation during the charging process.
• Do not cover the charger during operation.
• Do not expose the device to rain or moisture.
• The charger is designed for charging 12V/24V lead batteries. Do not use the charger for
other purposes, such as charging LiFePO4 batteries!
• Before connecting or disconnecting from the battery, disconnect the 220-240V AC power
supply.
• Never charge a damaged battery.
• Do not attempt to charge batteries that are not rechargeable.
• Never charge a frozen battery.
• Check the charging cables before use. Make sure that there are no cracks in the cables
or in the buckling protection.
A charger with damaged cables must not be used.
• During the charging process, corrosive substances can escape from the battery, which
can attack sensitive surfaces.
• Store and charge a battery only in an appropriate environment.
• Before charging, make sure that all vehicle accessories, including lights, heaters, other
appliances, etc., are switched off.
• Never leave a battery unattended during charging for an extended period of time.
• The device is not intended for use by children.
Keep the battery charger out of the reach of children and make sure that children can
not play with the charger.
• The connection to the power grid must comply with the applicable national regulations
for electrical installations.
