Charging Stages
The 8 levels:
Stage 1 – Desulfatation
Removes harmful sulfate deposits before starting the charging process.
Stage 2 – Soft Start
Soft start with gentle charging for increased battery life.
Stage 3 – Main charge
Main charge up to 80% of the total capacity.
Stage 4 – Residual charge/absorption
Gentle residual charge to 100% of the total capacity.
Stage 5 – Battery Test
Battery is tested for self-discharge.
Stage 6 – Repair
Reconditioning of deep-discharged batteries.
Stage 7 – Preservation Charge
Keeps the charge at 100% of the capacity without overcharging or damaging the battery.
Stage 8 – Maintenance Charge
Keeps the charge level at 95 - 100% of the capacity.
