7 – Preservation charge
The battery is kept even at 13.7V maintenance voltage without overcharging the battery or
damaging it. This means that the charger can also remain connected all year round (e.g. for
seasonal vehicles/classic cars). The voltage in this mode is permanently controlled.
8 – Maintenance charge
As soon as the voltage of the battery drops to a predefined level, the battery is charged again
to 100% by a pulse charge and thus constantly kept between 95% and 100% charge state. This
cycle repeats automatically and has a positive effect on battery life.
Switching mode technology
This Paco charger uses the latest technology for battery chargers.
Chargers with switching mode technology convert 220-240 volt alternating current into
12V/24V DC.
Unlike traditional chargers that use heavy transformers, this device uses electronic
components. This makes the charger lighter and more compact without saier power.
