Step 2 B: Connection within the vehicle
Determine if the vehicle is positive (+) or negative (-) grounded. Negatively grounded vehicles
have a cable (usually black) that leads from the minus pole of the battery to the vehicle body.
Negatively grounded (for most vehicles)
Connect the RED line (battery terminal) of the charger to the plus pole of the battery.
Connect the BLACK line (battery terminal) of the charger to the vehicle body – with sufficient
distance to the gasoline line and moving parts.
