Setup
Insert the battery
1. Remove the battery door.
2. Insert the battery into the compartment.
3. Slide the battery door back into place.
4. Connect the charger.

for the progress bar to fill and the language selection screen to appear.
Tip
Your phone won't
work without a SIM
card. The SIM card
is usually pre-
installed in your
Treo 680, unless
you’re upgrading
from a Cingular
phone. Check the
SIM card tray to see
if the SIM card is
installed. The SIM
card tray is tucked
away in a drawer
in the battery
compartment. See
"I need to insert my
SIM card" on page
42 for more info.
