4-2. Understanding Dual memory card slots
Following two recording modes are available with dual SD memory card slots.
RELAY REC
Recording is taken over between two slots continuously and automatically (video and audio
data are seamlessly record). Cards became full can be exchanged even while in recording.
Note: The maximum record duration per scene (clip) is 10 hours, recording stops once when
record time reached at 10 hours and start recording automatically after a few second.
SIMULTANEOUS
Record the same content onto two SD cards simultaneously. Even if recording stops on one
card, recording on the other card continues.
This mode cannot be used if mounted SD card types (example SDHC or SDXC) are different.
Using the 2Slot features
MENU > RECORD SETUP > 2SLOT FUNC: OFF / RELAY REC / SIMULTANEOUS
NOTE: RELAY record mode does not function under the following conditions.
- When Super Slow mode is ON.
- When Interval recording mode is ON.
