Connecting to Remote operation panel (AK-HRP200G)
You can remote control some functions by connecting the remote operation panel AK-HRP200G (optional) to the camera's <LAN> terminal or
<REMOTE> terminal.
r When connecting to the camera's <LAN> terminal
f When you connect AK-HRP200G via wired LAN and perform network settings of the camera and the AK-HRP200G, the camera automatically
enters the remote control mode. For the settings of connection, refer to “Setting for IP connection with the remote operation panel (AK-HRP200G)”
(page 229).
f You can exit the remote control mode by disconnecting the network from the AK-HRP200G, or removing the network cable and switching the camera’s
<POWER> switch from <OFF> to <ON>.

r When connecting to the camera's <REMOTE> terminal
f When you connect AK-HRP200G and set the <POWER> switches of the camera and the AK-HRP200G to <ON>, the camera automatically enters the
remote control mode.
f Remove the AK-HRP200G, or set the <POWER> switch on the AK-HRP200G to <OFF> to disable remote control mode.

Switch functionality in remote control mode
The following switches and buttons on the camera do not function in remote control mode.
f <SHUTTER> switch
f <MENU> button
f Jog dial button
f <GAIN> selector switch
f <OUTPUT> switch
f <WHITE BAL> switch
Recording and playback operations in remote control mode
Recording and playback operations cannot be performed from remote operation panel AK-HRP200G. You can only perform these operations from the
camera.
