Ensure that you have disconnected the power supply before you per-
form installation work. Secure the power supply to prevent unintentional
reactivation.
Ensure that all cables have the correct polarity. If this is not the case,

Ensure that the cables can never come into contact with hot objects
such as the water pipes. High temperatures can damage the insulation.
