IMPORTANT
As it is not possible to cover all variants of remote controller functions for all models within the
scope of this manual, only the most recent remote controller for the J generation and its functions
are explained in detail to serve as an example.
However, not all functions stated here will be available for all models. Therefore, in order to be
sure about the valid functions of each model, it is absolutely mandatory to refer to the operating
instructions or service manual for the relevant model when operating the device.

By comparing the Service Manuals for WH-ADC-
0309J3E5 and WH-ADC1216H6E5, I have identified
the following functions to be new on the J gener-
ation controller as compared to the H generation
controller. Is my list (see below) complete and
correct, or am I missing something?
[#22.07.2021, M.Serrano]
- Room thermistor as new “Sensor type/Set tem-
perature type”
[#This has not actually changed. “Room thermis-
tor” was already available for H Series.]
- New function for setting tank sensor to “Top” or
“Center”
[#OK.]; cH: added (11.11.2021)
- “Water temperatures” is now named “System
information”, with “COMP frequency” and “Pump
flowrate” as additional entries
[#OK.]; cH: added (11.11.2021)
- Two new display languages: Turkish, Finnish
[#OK. Additionally we have included Lithuanian
and Portuguese, but it’s not yet reflected in all
manuals.]
- New function “DHW capacity (Variable/Standard)”
[#OK.]; cH: added (11.11.2021)
- New function for setting “Bivalent connection” to
“Auto” or “SG ready” control pattern; and if “SG
ready” is chosen, there are new specific SG ready
settings
[#OK. Additionally also now Smart Grid ready (SG) is
available for Cooling]; cH: added (11.11.2021)
- New function “Force defrost”
[#This we already had in H]; cH: not in old manual,
added (11.11.2021)
- New function “Defrost signal”
[#OK.]; cH: added (11.11.2021)
- New function “Pump flowrate”
[#OK.]; cH: added (11.11.2021)
12.11.2021, cH
In order not to miss any deviations of the H gen.
compared to the J gen. (so to be on the safe side),
I changed the wording to limit this function over-
view to the J gen. models ONLY. OK? (You know,
the lazy ones are usually the smart ones, too. ;-))
