Operation during play
Some operations may not work depending on the
media and contents.

For information about the intended uses of a
USB HDD (> 66)
Press [STATUS ] twice.
e.g.,
Press [∫].
Resume play function
Press [ 1a 1.3] to restart from the stopped position.
Press and hold [1a1.3].
• Press again to return to normal speed.
• MKV, MP4 and MPEG2: Quick View is not effective.
Press [6] or [5].
•Press [1a1.3] to restart play.
• The speed increases up to 5 steps.
• MKV, MP4 and MPEG2: Audio is not heard during all
levels search.
Press [;].
•Press [1a1.3] to restart play.
While paused, press [6] or [5].
•Press [1a1.3] to restart play.
• The speed increases up to 5 steps.
• MKV, MP4 and MPEG2: Slow-motion is not effective.
While paused, press [2](2;) or [1](;1).
• Each press shows the next frame.
• Press and hold to change in succession forward
or backward.
•Press [1a1.3] to restart play.
• MKV, MP4 and MPEG2: Frame-by-frame is not effective.
Skip forward 1 minute:
Press [+60s].
Skip backward 10 seconds:
Press [-10s].
• Depending on the content that you play back, this function
is not available.
• This function does not work for programmes containing
recorded broadcasts.
Press [:] or [9].
• [HDD] [USB_HDD] (For recorded programmes):
It will not skip the programme. But the programme in the
grouped programmes will be skipped. (> 28)
Press [AUDIO].
• It will switch depending on the contents
recorded every time it is pressed.
• If “Audio Description” is set to “Automatic”,
Audio Description will be given priority when
playing, if available. (> 53)
[HDD] [USB_ HDD] (For recorded programmes)
1 Press [STTL ].
2 Press [OK].
3 Select “On” or “Off”, then press [OK].
• If you want to switch the subtitle language,
select it in the Basic Operation menu (> 33).
MKV:
Display with “Subtitles” in the Basic Operation
menu (> 33).
