Then, press the VTR Start/Pause Button (55) on the grip
shoulder for fade-out operation or on the camera remote
controller for fade-out operation and the blinking REC and
F disappear when the fade-out operation is completed.
Strobe Effect Shutter, Recording and FADE Operation
When the VTR Start/Pause Button (55) on the grip should-
er or on the camera remote controller is pressed after the
Fade-in/out Button (43) on the grip shoulder or on the
camera remote controller and SES switch are pressed, the
blinking SES, REC and F are displayed for strobe effect
shutter and fade-in operation. When the fade-in operation
is completed, the letter F disappears.

Tally Display
When the camera is used in the studio application using
RCU and the special effects generator and the picture of
camera is selected to the program output, the blinking
TALLY is displayed.
When the Strobe Effect Shutter/Normal Selection Switch
(14) is set to SES position while the blinking TALLY is
displayed, the blinking SES and TALLY are displayed.
Tape Counter Display
When the camera is used with the Panasonic portable VTR
(such as NV-180), the tape counter is displayed in the
viewfinder.
