Hand strap (FZ-VSTN11AU)
Note
• Refer to “Removing and attaching the battery cover” (page 13) and
“Installing and removing the battery” (page 18) for information about installation and removal of the
battery cover and battery.
• Take care as there is a risk of the unit dropping when the hand strap is loose.
• Do not use the hand strap if it is worn out or damaged.
• For typical cleaning, wipe the hand strap with a soft, dry cloth.
– If the hand strap becomes dirty, wet a soft cloth with water and wring it thoroughly before wiping
the hand strap.
– Do not clean the hand strap with benzene, thinner, alcohol, household cleansers, etc., as these
may damage the hand strap.
Attaching
1. Turn off the unit, and place it on a flat surface such as a desk with the screen face down.
• Make sure there are no foreign objects under the unit.
2. Remove the battery cover of the unit, and then remove the dummy mount (
).
• Remove the dummy mount straight out.
3. Attach the battery cover, insert the hand strap mount ( ) into the unit, and then push in until you hear
a click.
• Insert the mount straight in.
