8.1.1.5 Configure the settings when outputting to "Fax"
To use "Fax", a contract for fax service by e-mail is required.
1. Launch Configuration Web.
• For details, refer to "12.1 Launch Configuration Web" (page 93).
2. Open the [Server] tab.
3. Configure the "SMTP" (page 107) settings.
4. Configure the "Fax Service" (page 108) settings.
5. Open the [Scan] tab.
6. Configure the "Phone Book(Fax)" (page 104).
8.1.1.6 Configure the settings when outputting to a LAN connected
computer
1. Start the Network Scanner Select Tool on the computer that will receive the data.
2. Add the scanner to the list.
3. Click [OK].
• The computer will become available as a destination from the scanner.
