4. Place the documents on the feed tray (page 49).
• If the output destination is a computer connected via USB:
– When "Touch Free Scanning" is selected, scanning will start when documents are placed on the
feed tray.
– When "Single Touch Scanning" is selected, press the Start/Stop button (
) to start scanning.
• If the output destination is a computer connected via LAN:
– "Touch Free Scanning" is not available.
• Remove documents after they have been scanned.
