10. Clean the rollers of scanning background ( ) and conveyor rollers ( ).
i. Use the roller cleaning paper (page 13) or a soft, dry cloth to wipe the rollers from end-to-end and
around the entire circumference, as shown in the illustration.
ii. Press the Start/Stop button ( ) on the scanner to rotate the rollers a small amount.
iii. Repeat these steps until all surfaces of all rollers are cleaned.
11. Close the ADF door (page 39).
12. Press the Back button ( ) to exit Cleaning Mode.
