Is the glass surface of reading section
clean?
Clean the surface of the glass.
Copy a document.
Perform the scanner test.
LED lamp of the read section light?

Check the connection between CN7
and LED lamp.
Is the voltage at pin 1 of CN7 +24V?
Replace LED lamp.

Is the voltage at
pin 16 of IC7
0.6~7V?
Check IC1 or re-
place IC1.
Replace IC7.
Check the
pattern between
IC7 and CN7.
Repair the connection.
