Current Password
Description Specifies the current password to use to authenticate the User account
when logging in to the Web user interface.

New Password
Description Specifies the new password to use to authenticate the User account
when logging in to the Web user interface.

• A hyphen (-) cannot be used as the first character.

• When a
user logs in to the Web user interface for the first time,
after clicking OK on the authentication dialog box, the [Initial
User Password Settings] screen is displayed automatically to
make the user set a password.

Confirm New Password
Description Specifies the same password that you entered in [New Password] for
confirmation.

4.4.3 Admin Password Settings
This screen
allows you to change the password used to authenticate the Administrator account when logging
in to the Web user interface.
Note
• For security
reasons, the characters entered for the password are masked by special characters, which
differ depending on the Web browser.
• After you change the administrator password, the next time you access the Web user interface, the
authentication dialog box appears. Three consecutive login failures will result in an error ("401
