7.4 Upgrade Firmware
When an updated version of the firmware is provided on a Web site or other means, you can perform the
firmware update manually using Web user interface programming.
For details about the manual firmware update, see 4.7.3 Upgrade Firmware.
To manually update the firmware
1. In the Web user interface, click the [Maintenance] tab, and then click [Upgrade Firmware].
2. Enter a URL in [Firmware File URL].
Example: http://firm.example.com/firm/01.050.fw
3. Click [Upgrade Firmware].
Note
• You can use an HTTP server as the firmware server by simply setting its URL.
• A firmware update takes about 4 minutes.
• The unit will restart after the firmware update is complete.
• The unit cannot be used while the firmware is being updated.
