PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE SOLUTION
The status of the port
property of an SLT
extension is FAULT.
• The telephone is
off-hook.
Put the telephone on-hook and restart the
PBX.
Note
This solution does not apply to the power
failure
ports (ports 1, 2 on the pre-installed
MCSLC4 card).
• There is a problem in
the wiring.
Disconnect all cabling between the PBX and
SLTs, and restart the PBX.
After
restarting, if operation is normal, there is
probably a problem in the wiring or
connection. (For example, there might be a
short circuit in the switchboard or cabling.)
Note
This solution does not apply to the power
failure
ports (ports 1, 2 on the pre-installed
MCSLC4 card).
• The SLT circuitry is
damaged.
Consult a certified dealer.
