4. Programme the SIP extension you wish to register.
a. Set the IP address of the PBX, extension number,
and password in the corresponding fields for your
SIP extension.
b. Send a request from the SIP extension to the PBX
for registration.
If the authentication information of the SIP
extension
and the PBX match, the registration is
successful.
Note
When programming the SIP extension, the
names of the corresponding fields may differ
depending on the type of SIP phone you are
using.
For details about the actual operation of SIP
phones, refer to the documentation of the SIP
phone.
For certain SIP phones, you may need to set a
Sign-in name, which should consist of the
extension
number and the IP address of the PBX
(e.g., 350@192.168.0.101).
