4.3.1 Mother Board
4.3.1.1 Mother Board in the Main Unit
Function
The
mother
board is the preinstalled processing board with activation keys for CA Basic-Express for unlimited
users, use of 4 IP-PT, and 2 Unified Messaging ports. The Virtual Cards (trunk/extension) can be installed in
Virtual Slots of the mother board and can be activated with the activation keys. Also, the mother board supports
LAN connection so that IP telephones (IP-PTs, IP softphones, SIP phones) and PCs can be connected on a
private IP network.

• The maximum length of the CAT 5/CAT 5e cables to be connected to the mother board is 100 m.
