2.5.2 Connecting Extensions in Parallel
Any single line telephone (SLT) can be connected in parallel with a proprietary telephone (PT) as
follows:
Note
An answering machine, fax machine or modem can be connected in parallel with a PT in the
same way as an SLT can.
