an appropriate number of pulses gives you the desired letter.
Rotating the

two pulses gives the letter "m", rotating three pulses gives "N",
and so on.

until the desired character appears.
• If you keep rotating the Jog Dial, all of the characters will be displayed. For example,
if you rotate the Jog Dial after pressing 2, characters will appear in the following
order: A a B b •••• Z z (space) ! ? . , ' : ; * / + — = < > # $ % & @ ( ) A a B b ••••
