Voice mail service
Voice mail is an automatic answering
service offered by your service provider/
telephone company. After you subscribe to
this service, your service provider/
telephone company’s voice mail system
answers calls for you when you are
unavailable to answer the phone or when
your line is busy. Messages are recorded by
your service provider/telephone company,
not your telephone. Please contact your
service provider/telephone company for
details of this service.
Listening to voice mail
message(s)
The unit lets you know that you have new
voice mail messages in the following way:
s “ VOICE MAIL ” is displayed.
1 π KX-TS560MX
Lift the handset and dial an access
phone number.
π KX-TS580MX
Lift the handset or press {SP-PHONE}
and dial an access phone number.
≥ You will get an access phone number from
your telephone company.
2 Follow the pre-recorded instructions.
3 When finished, place the handset on the
cradle.
OR
Press {SP-PHONE} if using the
speakerphone (KX-TS580MX).
≥ “ VOICE MAIL ” will disappear from the
display.
≥ If “
VOICE MAIL ” still display after you have
listened to your voice mail messages,
press {FUNCTION}, and then press and
hold {CLEAR} and “
VOICE MAIL ” will
disappear.
