Basic Operations
If you have subscribed to a network service that
supports it, you can also send and receive messages
containing pictures, sound, or contacts lists.
Note:
● For details and the availability of these services,
contact your network operator/service provider.
Creating and sending an SMS message
1 Press . : Select .
2 : “Create Message”
3 : “SMS”
4 Enter a message (page 23).
5 : “Send to”
6 Input the phone number.
Manually
: “Manual Input”
Enter destination phone number.
Contacts
list
: “Add from List”
: Select the desired contact.
7 : “Send”
Note:
● If your SMS message contains over 160 characters (70
characters depending on character type), it is a long
message. You can send or receive a long message of
up to 1224 or 536 characters depending on character
