Intuitive Shooting
Agile Mobility
The LUMIX G6 responds precisely to virtually every
shooting style, whether you are shooting outdoors on
a bright, sunny day, following a moving subject,
or focusing on the tiniest of details.
Comfortable shooting styles.
This sophisticated design stabilizes
your shooting posture so you can
concentrate on each and every shot.
The free-angle monitor brings
greater freedom to your framing,
to expand the boundaries of your
imagination.
The image output between the LVF and
the rear monitor is automatically switched
by the eye sensor on the LVF. The same
sensor also serves for the Eye Sensor AF,
which automatically starts focusing when
the user looks into the EVF to capture
spur-of-the-moment shots.
The large new 3.0-inch, approx. 1036K-dot
high-resolution monitor rotates 180°
to the side and tilts 270° up and down
boasting a eld of view of approx. 100%.
The front panel is directly attached
to the new In Cell Touch LCD without
any air layer in between. The result is
that the reection of external light is
dramatically suppressed. Together with
the increased resolution and improved
color reproduction, the monitor for the
DMC-G6 secures higher visibility under
bright conditions. Plus, attenuation of
the transmitted backlight is minimized
to achieve a wide angle of view and 25%
power reduction.
The newly adopted Touch AE (Auto
Exposure) function lets you set the
appropriate exposure by simply tapping
the subject displayed on the monitor.
The function lever allows direct adjustment
of the allotted function - zoom,* exposure
or aperture** control. This lever works for
magnication in playback mode and page
ip in menu.
The Touch Pad function lets you
use both the LVF and the monitor
simultaneously for more intuitive shooting.
The DMC-G6 boasts quick response
featuring high-speed burst shooting at 7
fps in full resolution. Ready to shoot in only
0.5 sec* after start-up, the DMC-G6 never
misses those eeting photo opportunities
together with its high-speed, high-
precision Light Speed AF.

The SSWF that vibrates approx. 80,000
times / second is mounted between
the low-pass lter and the shutter.
Each time the power is turned on,
the lter oscillates the sensor surface
to automatically remove dust and other
particles.

SSWF (Super Sonic Wave Filter)
The new OLED (Organic Light-Emitting
Diode) LVF (Live View Finder) with
approx. 100% eld of view boasts excellent
color reproduction and astonishingly
high contrast at 10,000:1 for outstanding
viewability. The display time lag is
minimized dramatically compared with
the predecessor DMC-G5.
You can freely shift the AF
area without taking your
eyes off the viewnder.
* With the H-FS1442A, based on the CIPA standard.
