The DMC-G6 features
full-HD 1920 x 1080,
60p (60 Hz) / 50p (50
Hz) smooth, high-quality video recording in
AVCHD Progressive (MPEG-4 / H.264) format
and MP4 format at 28 Mbps. The DMC-G6
also supports 1080/24p native mode with 24
Mbps in AVCHD format bringing impressive

Manual Exposure Control
Creative Video Mode
A mode S mode
Leave the camera to record stationary
observations of subjects such as owers
coming into bloom or scudding clouds.
The series of consequent images can be
combined in the camera to produce a time
lapse video.
The Creative Control renders highly unique
expressions by matching the colors to your
subject and surroundings. In Miniature
Effect mode, the video recorded is played
back in 10x fast-forwarding making it more
comical to watch.*
High quality sound can be recorded with
Dolby® Digital. A Wind Cut function is also
available to block out most of the noise
from background wind. In addition to the
built-in stereo microphone, the DMC-G6
is equipped with a 3.5mm terminal for
external microphone.
In addition to the practical full-time AF,
the Touch AF in video recording also lets
users enjoy professional-like rack focusing.
Just by pointing at the subject, the focus
is shifted to it so it stands out to attract
attention. The AF Tracking locks on the
subject with focus even if it moves.
The Stop Motion Animation function lets you
produce a stop motion (stop frame) video
inside the camera with pictures that are
sequentially shot while moving the object
by degrees. This effect makes the object
appear as if it is moving by itself.
