be reset
and the Memory

The Memory
function
makes it simple
and fast to find
a
certain
position
on the
tape later again,
simply by
pressing
the
Reset Button
at that
position
to
set the tape
counter to
"0:00.00"
and by
pressing
the l\4emory/Repeavsearch
Button.
During Rewind
or Fast Forward,
the tape will
then
stop at approximately
the desired
position.
.Even
if the
Clock/Counter Display
is
switched over to
"Clock" Display
after
pressing
the
Memory/Repeav
Search Button,
the l\y'emory lunction
will
stop the tape
at the
desired
position.
When the
lvlonitor Button
is kept
pressed
during
playback
(except
Cue
or Review),
the broadcast
picture
of the
selected
programme
position
(channel)
or input
signal
through
Audio/Video
input socket will
be
displayed. When
this
button is released,
the
picture
will
change back to the
playback
picture
of the tape.
lf vertical
jitter
occurs
during Still
playback,
adjusl
the
V-Lock
Control
(on
the rear
of the VTR) for the
correspond-
ing
recording
speed
(LP
or
SP)
with
the
screw driver. A
one-time adjustment
should
be allthat is necessary.
