TAPE SPEED SELECTION
The type of
tape
(NV-T60, NV-T120, NV-T160) determines
the
maximum length of
recording time.
There is a
TAPE-SPEED
SELECTOR
for setting 3
recording speeds:
SP, LP, SLP.
They determine
how
fast
the tape operates
and consequently
the amount of
recording
time available.
(Refer
to
WPES OF
VIDEO
CASSETTE
table on
page
40.)
SP speed
usually
gives
the best
quality
recording for
normal
playback.
SLP
gives
most economical
tape usage.
For
special
effects
playback,
record
at SP or SLP speed.
