Rapidly Locate a Scene
Press FAST FORWARD/SEARCH or
REWIND/SEARCH for rapid visual search.
Press again, or press PLAY to resume
normal speed.
View a Still Picture
Press STILL to freeze the playback picture.
Press again to resume normal playback.
Note:
• During search playback, horizontal noise bars
will appear and there will be no audio.
• To protect the tape and video heads, your
Palmcorder's operating modes wilt revert as
follows:
STILL _ STANDBY after 5 minutes.
STANDBY --_ POWER OFF after 5 minutes
when using a Battery Pack.
• When the tape reaches its end during ptayback,
or fast forward, it wiU rewind automatically.
Before you begin..•
• Connectthe Patmcordertoa power source,
•tnsert a recordedcassette.
Set the POWER switch to VCR.
2(_ Press REWIND/SEARCH to
rewind the tape.
_) Press PLAY to start playback.
(_ Press STOP to stop playback.
Auto Play
When the POWER switch is set to VCR,
the cassette will automatically begin
playback if the record tab has been
removed.
Helpful Note:
Search Speed
StandardPtay(SP) Search is about3 times the
normalspeed, and SuperLong Play (SLP)
Search is about9 timesthenormal speed.
Auto Tracking
Continuously analyzes the signal of each
recording for optimum picture quality,
Manual Tracking
To minimize the noise in some recordings,
manual tracking may be necessary.
For Noise in Playback mode:
Press CLOCK SET UP ,L or DOWN V
until picture clears.
Press DISPLAY to return to Auto Tracking.
For Noise in Still mode:
Press CLOCK SET UP • or DOWN V
until picture clears.
V-Lock Control (Reduces jitter in Still mode.)
Press DISPLAY and CLOCK SET UP •
or DOWN I' until picture is stable. .
