Using the LCD Monitor Before you begin...
The LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) monitor + Connect the Camcorder to a power source.
can be used while recording.
I Press the LCD-OPEN button to unlock
the LCD monitor.
Zea the LCD monitor fully open
and adjust the angfe.
Caution:
Rotating the LCD monitor while it is only
partially open may block the cassette
door and cause damage to the
Camcorder body.
3 Set the POWER switch to CAMERA.
e The LCD monitor turns on and off
according to the POWER switch
setting.
* When the LCD monitor is fully open,
the Viewfinder automatically turns
OFF.
« When the LCD monitor is completely
closed, the Viewfinder turns on
automatically.
¢ By rotating the LCD monitor 180°, so
that it faces the same direction as the
lens, the Viewfinder turns back on
allowing you and the subject to
monitor the recording.

Note:
¢ Using the LCD monitor reduces battery
operating time.
¢ You cannot monitor the sound from the speaker
during recording. Connect the earphone (M3
