Caution:
* Charge only with specified charger.
* Battery can be charged within a temperature
range of 50° F (10° C) and 95° F (35° C).
* Battery is normally warm after charging or just
after use.
* Do not use an insufficiently charged or worn-
out Battery.
Safety precautions:
e Do not get Battery near, or dispose of in fire.
e Do not directly connect (short circuit) the
positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
« Never attempt to disassemble or reassemble
Battery.

Supplying Power
1 Plug in AC Adaptor.
e POWER Lamp Stays on as long as
Adaptor is plugged in.
2 Place Battery into Adaptor.
3 Press BATTERY REFRESH.
The CHARGE Lamp flashes during
discharge then stays lit until charging
is complete.
If BATTERY REFRESH is pressed
by mistake, remove Battery from
Adaptor and reinsert it for normal
charging.
4 Remove Battery.
* Charging takes about 7 and 1/2 hours
when Battery Refresh is used.
e Battery will not operate in extremely high -
temperatures.
To avoid Battery damage:
s Do not drop or jar Battery.
e Use Battery with specified units only. `
ə If Battery is used in extremely high
` temperatures, a safety device will
automatically prevent operation.
To prolong Battery life:
x While not in use, remove Battery from the
Camcorder and AC Adaptor and store ina
` cool, dark, dry place.
es Keep Battery terminals clean.
