One-Touch Auto Fade

Before you begin...
* Connect the Camcorder to a power source.
. Set the POWER switch to CAMERA.
Fade In:
Starting the first scene with “fade in” can
be very effective.
I Press the MODE SEL button repeatedly
to select BLACK or WHITE fade.
2 During the RECORD/PAUSE mode,
press the FADE button to make
“FADE” flash in the EVF.
3 Press the RECORD/PAUSE button.
The screen will turn black and the
recording will start as picture and
sound gradually fade in.
Fade Out:
Use to create a soft ending or, when used
together with fade in, a soft transition from
one scene to the next.
1 Press the MODE SEL button
repeatedly to select BLACK or WHITE
fade.
2 Press the FADE button to make
“FADE” flash in the EVF while
recording.
3 Press the RECORD/PAUSE button.
The picture and sound will gradually
fade out and the recording will PAUSE.
If FADE is accidentally pressed, simply
press it again so that “FADE” disappears
in the EVF.
