A. press the MENU button to display
Before you begin...
+ Connect the Camcorder to a power source.
1 Press the LCD-OPEN button to unlock
the LCD monitor. Swing it fully open
and adjust the angie.
2 Set the POWER switch to PHOTO.
The built-in Lens Cover opens and
POWER Lamp lights.
e Make sure the POWER switch is fully
rotated to the PHOTO position.
S siid the PHOTO MODE Selector to
REC.
REC MODE : PUSH MENU KEY
the REC MODE screen. Press UP A
or DOWN Y to
select the desired
mode (refer to
page 52) and then
press the SELECT: PUSH W/A KEY
DISPLAY button SET : PUSH DISPLAY KEY
to set.

Dress the RECORD button to capture
the image.
e When you press the RECORD button,
the two image status screens shown
below will be displayed as the image
is processed.
You may capture another image as
soon as "COMPLETED" disappears.

e Set the electronic shutter to a higher
speed when shooting in bright
surroundings such as outdoors.
This helps eliminate blurring of the still
image.
